Granny and Verity

About Granny and Verity

Granny and Verity is a 3D role-playing adventure game that follows an old woman as she guides a lost child called Verity home, but don’t expect the journey to be smooth, even if the title sounds warm. You have to satisfy the boy's hunger and thirst, and let him play, while also looking for signs of where his parents are in an open village full of surprises.

How to Play Granny and Verity

Your priority is to look after Verity’s needs. He’ll complain about needing food or drink, or play, at any time, even when you’re busy questing. If you ignore these stats, they will hurt you, slowing down your exploration. A practical tip is to pack some food and water in your bag before leaving the village; don't wait until Verity's stomach starts rumbling and you have to rush back.

Instead of just running down the main road, interact with the villagers and objects around you. Quests, information, or new events can be triggered by NPCs. Press E to talk or pick things up, and F if you’re stuck and need a hint about the current objective.

Your inventory is limited, so you should think twice about what you pick up. Quest items and Verity care items will be competing for space with miscellaneous items. Don't be a hoarder Press Q to drop things you don't need. When your inventory is full, you don't want to miss out on something important.

Choices can alter the course of events, even Verity’s fate. The game has a non-linear structure with multiple endings, so don’t randomly tap important dialog boxes. Some detours lead to an unhappy ending for the boy, so think before you decide.
